When We're Open

ABOUT US

Welcome to Wieselgrensgården – A Blooming Oasis in the Heart of Småland!

Here, in the beautiful Småland countryside, you’ll find a unique blend of sustainable farming and rich cultural heritage. We are a small, hands-on business run entirely by Rebecca and Mathias, cultivating 500 m² of land, half dedicated to flowers and the other half to vegetables.

Our farm shop is filled with products made with love and care—from homemade delicacies to upcycled treasures, all reflecting our deep respect for nature. You’ll also find free-range eggs from our happy hens and honey from our hardworking bees, all produced right here on our farm.

At Wieselgrensgården, we focus on biodiversity and sustainability, with a strong commitment to preserving and enriching our local countryside. When you visit, you’ll receive more than just a beautiful bouquet or a floral workshop—you step into a harmonious world where nature’s beauty and history come together. It’s a place where past and present intertwine, inviting you to both reflect and reconnect with nature.

So come and be part of our blooming community. Support the local countryside by choosing locally grown products, embrace a sustainable way of living, and enjoy the beauty and purpose that surrounds you!

Rebecca

Rebecca is the one who grows the flowers and handles all the admin. She’s also the creative behind the bouquets and the dresses made under the Ruth & Rudolf brand.

She’s passionate about all things local. The shorter the distance from soil to table, the better – that’s how she wants it.

And flowers? She LOVES them. All flowers. Colors, shapes, and the magic of arranging them into something that brings joy to others—that’s what she loves most.

And yes – there are straight rows in the garden… they’re just not made by her.

Mathias

Mathias is the one who grows the vegetables. Funny enough, he’s not the biggest fan of eating them—but he loves growing them! There’s something truly special about watching a tiny seed turn into a full harvest.

He’s also the organizer of the farm. Straight rows, clean lines, and everything in its place—because it makes weeding so much easier!

And let’s not forget his love for tools and machines. Whether it’s a spade, a drill, or a tractor, Mathias is always prepared with the right equipment for the job.

Ruth and Rudolf

This is Ruth and Rudolf – Rebecca’s grandmother and grandfather – on their wedding day, sometime in the late 1940s.

They’re the reason all of this exists. Or well… a big part of it, anyway. Rudolf loved flowers. He grew them, painted them, and talked about them constantly. Ruth was the more practical one – always busy with something. Like weeding, for example.

These two are the ones who once sparked Rebecca’s love for gardens and flowers.

So... if you’ve ever wondered why one part of the business is called Ruth & Rudolf, now you know. It’s in this photo – of Rebecca’s beautiful grandmother and her dashing grandfather – and in the bridal bouquet her grandfather carefully and lovingly colored by hand.

Thank you, Ruth and Rudolf!
